Monaco Art Week is an eagerly anticipated event in the Riviera art world, bringing together galleries, artists, and exhibitions in a vibrant celebration of creativity and culture. The event spans several days, transforming the principality into a dynamic hub of artistic expression. By creating an itinerary to follow along, participants can explore the principality while taking in the arts.
Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, Monaco Art Week from July 2nd to July 7th, 2024. The opening ceremony will be graced by the presence of H.R.H. The Princess of Hanover, marking the beginning of the 6th edition of this artistic journey through the Principality.
A Rich Artistic Tapestry
The event features an impressive collaboration of galleries, auction houses, and art enthusiasts, offering a series of exhibitions across Monaco's diverse districts. This year, the event boasts 19 participants, including prominent names such as Artcurial, Boghossian, Christie's, Hauser & Wirth, and Sotheby's. Notable newcomers include the Almine Rech Gallery, Collect|MC Association, and the Hôtel des Ventes de Monte-Carlo, further enriching the event's diverse offerings.
Diverse Artistic Expressions
Monaco Art Week promises a comprehensive showcase of artistic forms, from sculpture and painting to fine jewellery and various creative expressions spanning ancient, modern, and contemporary art. This year's edition aligns with the Artmonte-Carlo International Fair on July 6th and 7th and the opening of the "Turner, the Sublime Legacy" exhibition at the Grimaldi Forum, in collaboration with Tate, starting on July 6th.
