L'Art de la Fête: Discover local artists and cuisine in Nice

L'Art de la Fête, a unique, unifying and multi-sensory event at the heart of the iconic Château de Crémat showcases the best of local producers.

Château Crémat in Nice

Art, wine, food, music and a stunning location in the hills above Nice… what more could want for a weekend outing? How about also getting to know the local artisans who make it all? The first ever edition of “L'Art de la Fête” invites you to the heart of the iconic Château de Crémat on 8 and 9 October 2022. Visitors get a great opportunity to explore this striking historic castle, nestled between Nice and Monaco for a weekend dedicated to the art of celebrating. Artists, designers, and fine cuisine proprietors will take over the red landmark’s vast garden to offer visitors a unique experience. This first edition will be presided over by Magali Altounian, deputy mayor of Nice, responsible for the city's promotion.

L'Art de la Fête is a concept imagined by Soraya Bahsoun, an entrepreneur with a passion for the Côte d'Azur and director of Young Nice Artist, a networking group of artists from across the Côte d'Azur. For the first edition of this new concept, she chose the charm and elegance of the gardens of the Château de Crémat, a true jewel of the Côte d'Azur. A place full of history and an essential reference for events in the region.

Ms Bahsoun, explains why she created the event: “I envisioned L'Art de la Fête with a desire to offer a different kind of event that would celebrate the art of living and the know-how of the Côte d'Azur. With Nice, the capital of the Côte d'Azur, being listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, I wanted to bring together all the city's wealth of art, gastronomy, culture and local products for a weekend that would be festive and multi-sensory, while going beyond the usual events. With its majestic style, its history and its pronounced taste for festivities, the Château de Crémat seemed to me to be the ideal place for this first edition.”

Among the exhibitors, L'Art de la Fête will bring together renowned figures such as the artist Virginie Broquet, Galimard Perfumes and the Tchin Tchin House. In addition, new talents will have the chance to present their work and exhibit their creations to the general public for the first time. The two days of festivities will be highlighted by all kinds of activities: Live Painting, gourmet stands as well as discovery workshops, including one dedicated to the art of the table with Chineur Dineur.
